The documents needed vary depending on the destination, species, intended use of the animal, and mode of transportation/carrier (airplane, ship, truck). The animal must be examined by a veterinarian who will issue the health certificate. The health certificate is then endorsed by a State Veterinarian (official government Vet).
You must have your animal examined by a veterinarian. If the animal meets the destination country’s requirements, your veterinarian can issue the health certificate. Please contact your veterinarian to obtain a correct and properly completed export health certificate.

Get started as soon as possible! The process could take a few weeks to many months, depending on the type of breed. Please inform our R&D personnel of your travel plans as early as possible. Their involvement is crucial to the entire relocation process.
Only a miniscule percentage of pets that fly experience an injury, loss or death. Experts found that less than 0.01 percent of pets that fly have an incident. (This figure is based on U.S. airlines interviewed and U.S. Department of Transportation documents.) Even then, most incidents are due to a mistake by the pet’s owner, says Marcel Brozius, director Europe of the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA).
Unfortunately there is no one source for quarantine and country requirements. Even our professional pet relocation experts must call the Embassies and Consulates to obtain the latest requirements for each shipment.
