Important Changes at United Airlines (Pet Travel Policy Aug 2018)

Effective 1st August 2018, United Airlines (UA) will implement several new policies and customer requirements for pet air transportation to improve the safety of the travel experience following a comprehensive review of their PetSafe® program in partnership with American Humane, the country’s first national humane organisation. Throughout the remainder of the year, United and American Humane will continue to make enhancements as needed to further improve the safety and care of animal transportation. – ipata.org

* No pet bookings into or out of LAS, PSP, PHX or TUS between now and September 30th.

LAS: McCarran International Airport

PSP: Palm Springs International Airport

PHX: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

TUS: Tucson International Airport

 

* International shipments now must be arranged through a member of IPATA – www.ipata.org
